ADMISSION
Faith Christian School/Faith Christian-Science High School is designed to address the needs of those students whose behaviour is acceptable and whose mental abilities are at least the average level and caters to the highly intellectual through the Special Science Curriculum in the pilot sections and provides opportunities to the artistic by discovering  and developing the multiple intelligences of students through the Special Arts Program that includes Painting on Canvass, Journalism, Public Speaking, Creative Writing, Choral Group and Musical Instruments.
FCS is emphasizing instruction for the student within a specific range of ability. An entrance test is given to all new enrollees to measure general intelligence, aptitude, in Math, Science, and in English.  This is also used to determine the strengths and weaknesses of a child so that the student can be motivated to reach his fullest potential and can be assisted in areas of his weaknesses through remedial and tutorial services. 
AGE AND ACADEMIC CRITERIA FOR ADMISSIONS

  1. A student must be 3 years old by June 1 to be eligible to enroll in the Nursery.  He or she must show emotional readiness, that is, be left alone by the parents for a couple of hours to attend his class.
  2. A student must be 6 years old by June 1 to be eligible to enroll in first grade.  He / she must be able to  read and write
  3. A student will be admitted to Grades 2 to Fourth Year High School on the basis of successful completion of the previous grade and satisfactory scores on the admissions examinations.
  4. A student who does not pass the entrance examination may be admitted on a probationary status and is required to undergo tutorial or remedial classes.



ADMISSION AND REGISTRATION PROCEDURES

A.  ADMISSION FOR OLD STUDENTS
OLD STUDENTS REQUIREMENTS:
  • Clearance Form
  • F-138 (Report Card) Original and 1 photocopy
  • Make appointment for I.D. picture taking with front desk


Registration Procedure:

  • Proceed to the assessment room and present the admission requirements for issuance of Application and Registration Form
  • After completing the forms, have it assessed by the teacher-in-charge
  • Proceed to the Business Office for Payment and list of books
  • Present receipt and list of books and materials and claim them from the bookstore.


B.  REGISTRATION PROCEDURES FOR NEW STUDENTS
NEW STUDENTS REQUIREMENTS:

  • F-138 (REPORT CARD) original and 1 photocopy
  • Make appointment for I.D. picture taking at front desk
  • Birth Certificate (photocopy only)
  • Recommendation letter from former school
  • 1 long brown envelope


REGISTRATION PROCEDURES:

  1. Submit to the Admin.  Office the admission requirements.
  2. Arrange with the Admin. Office to take an Entrance Test
  3. Wait for the result of the entrance exam.  Afterwards, secure a schedule for interview
  4. After passing the evaluation test and entrance examination, secure enrolment form from the Assessment room.
  5. After completing the forms, have it assessed for payment required upon enrolment.
  6. Proceed to the Business Office for payment i.e. tuition fees, including books and uniforms
  7. Present receipt and list of books and materials and claim them from the bookstore.


C.   REGISTRATION PROCEDURES FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS
TRANSFEREES FROM ABROAD REQUIREMENTS:

  • F-138 (REPORT CARD) original and photocopy
  • F-137 or Transcript of Records
  • Make appointment for I.D. picture taking at front desk
  • Birth Certificate (photocopy only)
  • Recommendation letter from the former school
  • Alien Certification of Registration (ACR) and Student Permit.
  • 1 long brown envelope


REGISTRATION PROCEDURE:

  1. Present the Alien Certification of Registration (ACR) and Student Permit.
  2. Present all credentials (forms evaluated and duly approved by the Department of Education), F-138-F-137 to be evaluated by the Asst. Principal for appropriate grade / year level as per Philippine Standard of Education.
  3. Arrange with the Admin. Office to take the Entrance Examination
  4. Wait for the result of the Entrance Exam.  Afterwards, secure a schedule for interview.
  5. After passing the evaluation test and entrance examination and interview, secure enrolment form from the Assessment Room.
  6. After completing the forms, have it assessed for payment required upon enrolment.
  7. Proceed to the Business Office for payment, including books and uniforms.
  8. Present receipt and list of books and materials and claim them from the bookstore.
